shopping and wiffle ball.

friday i had the change to take my two favorite 12//13 year old girls to easton.

some shopping, seeing the movie Monte Carlo, and girl talk.

it was soo much fun and i love them both more than anything.

after all.  they are the closest thing i have to a little sister.

they did a great job with putting up with all my picture taking.

they are both such sweet girls and i am blessed by them more than they know!

plus, since i am not ever asked on dates, it was an excuse to get dressed all cute!

then tonight, we had my annual family gathering at the farm.

we had SUCH a great time and i was reminded why i love having a big family.

after all, you do have almost a whole wiffle ball team when you play :].

i think we ended up having a tie. bummer!

my mom's cousins daughter, whose name is also ann, and i got to talk.

i knew she had done some church planting and we got to talking.

and we talked a good hour or so about church, life, faith....all the works. 

it was so nice, and we exchanged e-mails.  she seems so wise, and i look forward to getting to know her more.

she also goes to a vineyard church!  how cool.

and how awesome that after all these years of seeing each other, we click and end up talking.

the firecracker 5 is tomorrow!

and it was about 90 degrees this morning.

so help me if it is that hot tomorrow am!

and today ended my house sitting.

hallelujah! 

not that it was bad, or hard even. but it was just more to add to my {already full} plate.

oh, and i got told i look like i am 14 by two people today.

just lovely.
