clinical.

whew.  yesterday was a loooong day at clinical.

at clinical you get all kinds of patients.  ones that talk your ear off and ones that don't talk at all.  and, you know, the ones that pee all over the floor, and themselves, right after you did their bed bath (oh yeah, that did happened). 

but all things aside, there have been may firsts this semester:

1. i gave my first full bed bath (yes, FULL bath!)

2. i gave my first shot

i didn't have any notable 'first' yesterday, but i did have a hilarious patient!

at one point, we were chatting about men.

she told me she had high standards

she looks at me and says very seriously:

my men must have teeth and a license

uhhh that was NOT what i was expecting!

she was a gem, regardless!  and caused a couple good laughs. she told me several times i would be a great nurse, and those words are always appreciated while in nursing school!

there is only one more clinical before the semester ends.  where did the time go?!

well, the library is calling my name! if there is one class i WONT miss it's microbiology...
