last i checked, don't you have to be like 5 to get pink eye?!
well, apparently not.
remember that dr at school that told me i didn't have pink eye?
the one who wouldn't give me medicine cause it was just 'allergies'?
yeah. well thanks doc.
i now have a SERIOUS case of pink eye.
in BOTH eyes.
my mom claims its the worst case she has seen.
the doctor described it as 'severe inflammation going on'.
needless to say, i'm pretty miserable.
my dr this morning said he couldn't believe that the other dr didn't give me anything cause they're that bad.
they weren't that bad during exams, but were certainly not normal!
{since this has been a three week thing now}.
wowza.
regardless, i am so glad i am medicated!
when the pharmacist asked if the eye drops were for both eyes, she took one look at me and said 'yep!'. then she told me her eyes started watering just looking at mine.
so here are some pathetic pictures of me with pink eye.
{cause i know you all want to see what they look like.}
{cause i know you all want to see what they look like.}
these were taken at 6 am when i woke up to use the restroom and found my eyes matted shut.
so excuse me while i look a little sleepy. and red.
{oh. my poor eyes!}
ouch.
i'm sorry i shared those.
it makes me hurt just looking at them!
when i informed my father i had pink eye he said:
'well, you have the cutest pink eyes i've ever seen.'
HAHA oh my. what a jokster.
on the bring side, it got me out of work for today and tomorrow.
not that i like missing work, but its a nice surprise every now and then.
so i'll be watching movies and reading the next couple days.
and while i have pink eye, i am remember the last time i had pink eye...when i was 5.
my sister and i shared a room at our old house.
when i woke up that morning and couldn't open my eyes, my sister sat and convinced me that she saw my older brothers come in and try to glue my eye lids shut! HAHAHAHA.
what a ham!
and if you know my sister, this would not surprise you.
when i reminded her of this, she said:
'well, i was a little s***, i wouldn't put it past me!'
straight from the horses mouth!
oh the joy of having siblings :].
we had our last meal with our host student before he goes back to China for the summer.
i will miss him.
he's basically my brother...just an international one.
cool, huh?
