today my little bro won the secionals for tennis!

and by little bro, i mean he is 16 years old--and 5'10" ish.

sooo he's not so little anymore.

i am so very proud of him.

although he is not the most humble person, i am glad to see him do well.

i didn't go because i wasn't informed on the times. and i slept another 11 hours last night.

but districts will be next week and i hope to go to those!

i tell ya...there are some days when i can't help but think {sarcastiaclly}

'there is no place like home'.

i'm gonna be honest here, my dad and i struggle.

he is not a strong believer and i love him dearly, but he can be a jerk.

like a big jerk.

he was having a rough morning {even though daniel won} and at one point said to me:

'do you ever get tired of being wrong all the time?!'.

hahahaha ohhh my. it's good to be home...... right?

its only 2 weeks into summer. oy vey!

{and yea, i did just google how to spell that correctly.}

didn't do much today.

been kinda lazy.

i am reading the book 'love and respect' and it's kinda redundant. 

good food for thought but i feel like i keep reading the same thing over and over.

babysat for several hours tonight for my 2nd fam.

me and rory had a little photo shoot!

he then asks me 'ann, you're going to marry me, right?'

when i say 'sure!', he then tells me:

'i will take you on a date.'

then he signals me to lean in so he can whisper, and he whispers,

'i'll even by you ice cream!'

oh my.  that boy knows how to get to my heart!

for some reason, rory has been my buddy ever since i've been home.

always wanting to be with me and all snuggly.

i love it.

i am told he mentions several times a day that he misses me.

gah. i just can't get enough!

aubrey is getting to know me more and kept waving at me tonight.

i guess she doesn't do that to many people.

so i should be honored.

well, i am!

i'm exhausted and off to bed!

yep, i'm a college student and it's not even 11 pm.

and i'm going to bed.
